Privacy Policy

Fablewalk is built to work with as little personal data as possible: no mandatory account, no ads, no cross-app tracking — and your location is never stored on our servers.

What we collect

• An anonymous account identifier, created automatically the first time you open the app. It contains no name, no email, no phone number — it only ties your subscription and preferences together.
• Your email address, only if you choose to add one to secure your subscription across devices. It is used for authentication, never for marketing without your consent.
• Your location, only while you use the app: it is sent to our servers to find remarkable places around you, then discarded — it is not stored, not historized, and never shared.
• Your subscription status, processed by Apple and by our subscription provider RevenueCat to unlock paid features. We never see your payment details.

What we do not do

• No ad tracking, no selling of data, no profiling.
• No history of your movements.
• No background collection.

Where your data lives

Our application servers are hosted in the European Union. Authentication is operated by Supabase; subscriptions by Apple and RevenueCat — each acting as a processor strictly for the purposes described above.

How long we keep it

Your anonymous identifier and preferences live as long as your account does. If you delete your account, the associated data is deleted; anonymous accounts left behind by uninstalling the app are periodically purged.

Your rights

You can delete your account and its data directly in the app (Profile → Account → Delete my account). Under the GDPR you also have the right to access, rectify, object to and port your data: write to [email protected]. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
